Proposed Cowl’s Subdivision Plans 2022 and 2024
On Feb. 3, 2022 Four Subdivisions were proposed for multiple Cowls properties located in North Amherst. The subdivision plans were made in response to a temporary moratorium on large scale ground mounted solar installation in the town of Amherst. The proposed moratorium failed to get a super majority of votes needed to pass. All proposals were withdrawn from consideration on March 2, 2022. Cowls presented another set of Flat Hills Road preliminary subdivision plans in September 2024. They have yet to submit a set of definitive subdivision plans.
